2012 Baseball & Softball signups

When:

Wednesday Jan 25^th, 6pm-8pm

Saturday Jan 28^th, 11am-2pm

Wednesday Feb 1^st, 6pm-8pm

Saturday Feb 4^th, 11am-2pm

Saturday Feb 18^th 11am-2pm

Sign-up EARLY to learn more about:

FYC 1^st Annual Baseball/Softball camp!

Held February through March

Starting the week of February 5^th

Due to increased cost and past failed fundraising events, FYC has increased sign ups rates to:

$45 – per child

$80 – 2 children same family

$90 – Same family cap

**ALL SIGN-UPS AFTER FEBRUARY 18^TH WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $10 LATE FEE PER PLAYER. **

2012 Baseball & Softball Youth Camp

When:

Schedule will be available February 4^th

(Every Tuesday or Thursday Starting Feb 7^th and ending March 29^th)

Where:

Edgewood Elementary School

Cost:

$25 per Player (w/a complete FYC Registration Form and Cash/check Payable to FYC)

*Cost:

$35 per Player (w/o complete FYC Registration Form and Cash/check Payable to FYC)

**If at a later date player signs-up with FYC a $10 credit will be made on the registration cost.

**Payment due by Feb. 7^th or Feb. 9^th

The camps intent: Is to enhance player development, with organized repetition, of basic softball/Baseball fundamentals and techniques. Also, this camp will be FYC primary fundraiser for the 2012 season with 100% of the proceeds going into upgrading First Aid, Bating, and Catchers Equipment.

Pee Wee Game This Tuesday!!!!

The Pee Wee White make-up game will be held this Tuesday September 27th at 5:30pm

Players need to be at Seyferth's Park off Sherman at 4:30pm(or asap) and Cheerleaders need to be there by 5pm.

There will be NO CHEERLEADING PRACTICE at Farr Field, only the football game.

Fruitport Youth Club Night!!!

When: Friday, September 16th
Where: Fruitport High School Varsity Football game
Time: 7pm

Football players & Cheerleaders who wear their uniforms will be able to attend FREE of charge!
Cheerleaders will be cheering with the Varsity & Junior Varsity Cheerleaders (please refer to coaches for specific times)
All Football Players & Cheerleaders will be invited out on the field at half time to make a tunnel for the Varsity football team to come back through!
Each coach will determine a meeting place for their team, if you do not know this meeting place please go to the entrance of the field by the concession stand 5 minutes before half time

*All children who attend should be accompanied by an adult, the coaches will only be responsible for them during halft-time and the time the cheerleaders cheer. Please come and get your child after that, so that coaches are not searching for parents. Thank you!

Mandatory Parents Meeting!!!

When: Thursday, August 11th
Where: Farr Field
Time: 6pm
What: The board would like to address all the parents of the football players and cheerleaders and discuss the season, volunteering, and fundraisers.

All practices will be held off until the Parents meeting is over, Children are encouraged to join the meeting!!

If you cannot attend the meeting due to a conflict in schedule, please send and adult in your place, there will be a lot of important information discussed at the meeting!

Are you ready for some football!!!

Football practice starts August 1st - you will receive a phone call from your child's coach soon to inform you on the specific times each team will practice
Cheerleading practice will start the first week in August - you will be informed on times and dates of practice by your child's coach.
If you have not signed your child up for football or cheerleading and would like to please come to the field August 1st at 5:30 by the consessions; there will be a $10 late fee added to registration fee's.
There will be no registration after August 1st due to conditioning regulations. If you can not make it August 1st, but would still like to sign your child up please contact Julie Craymer(cheerleading director) or Norm Butler(football director) as soon as possible and let them know your intentions. WILL BE HELD AUGUST 2nd DURING PRACTICE

Trophy House will be at the field with equiptment also

All players and families are invited out to enjoy food, games and a medal ceremony!

When: Saturday July 16th at 1:00pm

There will also be last chance football and cheerleading sign-ups at that time, after this there will be a $10 late fee added to the price. (Price: 35.00 - per kid 80.00 3 or more - due at sign-ups)

**There will also be sign-ups at the baseball/softball end of season picnic 7/16 1:00 at Farr Field

Anyone signing up after these dates will be charged a $10 late registration fee.... Due to football conditioning regulations there will be NO sign-ups accepted after the first week of August!!!
