Your Scratchcard Fundraising Kit!
It’s fundraising time for the 2008 FYC Baseball/Softball Season, and this
year we’ve chosen the quick and easy Scratchcard program.
Each card has
the potential to raise $100.
Your Scratchcard kit includes:
1. This explanation letter
2. One Scratchcard with coupons
3. One collection envelope
Here’s how the program works:
Take your Scratchcard around to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers and
ask if they would like to support Fruitport Youth Club in just three easy steps:
1.
Scratch!
Supporters scratch one or more dots to reveal a dollar amount
ranging from FREE to $2.50
2.
Donate!
Supporters then donate the total amount uncovered.
3.
Receive!
As a thank you, supporters receive a valuable brand name coupon
sheet for every spot
they scratch!
Use your collection envelope to hold donations. Keep track of your progress
using the chart on the back of the envelope. To make money handling easier,
there will be two collection dates:
FIRST COLLECTION DATE
: April 28th
– April 30th
DO NOT SEAL YOUR COLLECTION ENVELOPE YET!
SECOND COLLECTION DATE
: June 2nd
– 4th
At the end of the fundraiser, please return your
Scratchard(s)
– completed, or not – and your
envelope with all donations.
Only
seal your envelope when turning in donations on June 2nd
– 4th.
In order to be considered for prizes you must complete at least half of your
Scratchcard and have all of your collected donations turned in by June 4
th.
Prizes will be given for every 15 dots completed, every completed Scratchcard
and the most money earned.
Winners will be awarded at the
Baseball/Softball Picnic which will be held
June 21st.
